CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME 

November 02, 2023

Today Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal conducted a capacity building programme .It was related to the work of the  paper EDU 07 (second semester). The chief guest of the workshop is Mrs. Arya Muraleedharan, consultant psychologist of ATHMA institute, Thrissur.
The topic discussed was" STRESS  MANAGEMENT ".The programme was started exactly at 10 am at the general hall .The programme was anchored by Aneeta.Welcome speech by Akshara.Sreedevi ma'am (Head of Natural Science Department)speaks about the guest Arya ma'am.All our teachers were present in the hall and become a part of that programme.In between the program Arya ma'am tried to engage all students to the program through some activities. About 4 activities were done and it was very interesting and also contained some fun elements .The programme gave important information about how to manage our stress effectively .Anjana and Gayathri T S gave feed back to the programme.salu falicitated vote of thanks.
As a teacher trainee it was very informative programme for me to develop the skills in students to manage their stress during studies.All the students were  actively participated in the programme.

We charted our  1st Subject Association Programme  and  Inauguration  of Mathematics  association on  W orld  M ath  S tory  T elling  D ay on 25th September afternoon from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The programme was inaugurated by Jaseena teacher , our Mathematics teacher. We are 11 teacher trainies performs 11 various presentations .Various programmes like story telling ,messages ,charts, games, videos etc are conducted. ONAM CELEBRATION

Onam holds a great significance in Kerala as it commemorates the return of the legendary king Mahabali. So, we also celebrate Onam on 23rd August 2023. Our Onam celebration was named as " oolam " Onam celebration was inaugurated by  Dr jayakumar sir ,  the founder of Sabarigiri group of institutions. A wonderful "atham "  was done by us. Various colourful programmes were conducted by our seniors. We were also the participants of the programme. Thirivathira dance, Onam songs and other dance programmes were staged. The morning section lasted at 1pm and the delicious  " Sadya" was arranged under the leadership of the seniors. After the feast, they arranged various physical programmes like lemon with spoon race, chakk race, kuppiyil vellam nirakkal etc. The programme came to an end with three round tug of war. NATIONAL READING DAY

NATIONAL READING DAY JUNE 09 , 2024 National Reading Day of Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal was observed on 19June 2024 at 2.30pm in general hall.The day is a tribute to the effort of PN Panicker to transform society with his literacy movement in India. The Father of Reading passed away on June 19, 1995. PN Panicker founded Sanadana Dharma Library which was the centre of the library movement in Kerala. The program was started with NSS song by college choir team. The importance of the day was delivered by NSS Programme Officer Mrs.Jaseena Miss.After that the children went to the library and read different types of books.Books play a significant role in our life, especially for children. Reading books increases the knowledge of students, improves their intellect, makes students aware of the various societies, and civilizations across the globe.
