FIRST SEMESTER FIELD TRIP

February 26, 2024

Field trips are organised visits of teachers and students to immediate or distant places to enrich learning experiences and to further instructional purposes of regular classroom activities. 
           On 26.02.2024 Monday, we started our trip from college to Vagamon around 4:30am.We teacher trainees gathered the college around 4.10am. We started our dream journey with prayer in a tourist bus "Dorado" with 52 trainees and five teachers including our Principal Meera Raj Ma'am .  
          The journey to Vagamon was blended with music and dance. We had our breakfast at "Rose Maria Restaurant" at 8.00am. Then we continued our journey to Vagamon. We reached Vagamon Glass Bridge at 10:30am. It is the longest cantilever Glass Bridge at Vagamon. After that we moved to the second destination Pine Forest in Vagamon and reached there at 11.45am.It is a region with acres occupied by magnificent pine trees thriving in the pollution free environment on steep slopes. Around 2.00pm , we reached the third destination point Thangalpara. Nestled on the Thangal hill, Thangalpara in Vagamon is a famous tourist attraction and a holy site of Muslims. There is a rock and a tomb of Shiek Fariuddin at the spot. At 3.00pm we reached Nagaland Restaurant for lunch.By 4:15pm we reached at Mottakkunn, group of bald hills without trees.The park had several adventures such as zipline, sky cycling etc. Around 5:30pm.We left Mottakkunn and went to Parunthanpara and reached at 6:30pm.Parunthanpara is literally known as" Eagle Rock". From here, the mahajyothi of Sabarimala is visible.By 12.15pm the bus reached the last stop of Sabarigiri College of Education.

Our third day of Induction. We reached the school at 9.15am.  we signed our attendence register. On 2rd period I and Akshara BEd trainee got substitution in 7  Std. We gave an activity to students. They enjoyed alot. 3rd period i got a substitution in 8E class. I have an opertunity for  class management.On fifth period I and anjana BEd trainee got a Substitution in 6th class. On 6th period again we got a Substitution in 8D for class management.  7thperiod  i  got a substutin in 7D. All students are active. Some  student sing a song.The class was so calm and quiet. The bell rang at 3.30 pm and classes ended. We ran to ground for doing our duty. After duty ended  all  trainees singed  the register and leav the school at 4pm

23-09-2024 DAY 1 Today l reached the school at 9. 00am. Then l went to the headmaster room and signed the attendence register. Today the fourth period for me to take my concerned class. I entered class exactly at 11.50am.  I taught the new chapter money math. I  recall the previous class simple interest.After taking class ,l asked students feedback and given them follow up activity. The period was  ended at12.30pm.6th period in concern class i taught the continution of money math. The class ending at3.30pm. And we left school at3.40pm.   DAY 2 Today l reached the school at 9.10am. Then l went to the headmaster room and signed the attendence register  . Today was the seventh period for me to take the concerned class.1st period is alloted for 9A class.
