LOTION CHALLENGE FOR WAYANAD   04/09/2024 As part of NSS , our Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal made a challenge to save Wayanad district from the  recent devastating landslides that occurred on July 30, 2024 . This tragic event resulted in significant loss of life, injuries, and property damage.  Heavy rains caused hillsides to collapse, leading to landslides and flash floods in the villages of Mundakkai, Chooralmala, and Vellarimala .  The Kerala government has also initiated measures to provide financial assistance to the affected families . Along with the government, the NSS units in all colleges declared to construct new houses for the losed ones.So that we made the lotion challenge and to collect atmost possible amount and handed over the same to the Kerala University. TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION   5 September, 2024 Teachers' Day Celebration at Sabarigiri College of Education: On September 5, 2024, at 10 pm, the college held a Teachers' Day programme in the general hall. Principal Dr. Roy inaugurated the event, anchored by Gayathri.The programme began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address by Salu. Aparna from the English Department explained the significance of Teachers' Day. Teachers shared their valuable experiences, and Pooja, a first-year student, recited a poem. FAREWELL PARTY - "HASTA LA VISTA" 30/08/2024 On August 30, 2024, Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, held a farewell party for senior students. The event, named 'Hasta La Vista', started at 10 am in the general hall. Our Principal, Dr. Roy, inaugurated the program, which was coordinated by us. We formed three committees for decorations, program management, and food arrangements. The event began with a warm welcome for senior students, who received chocolates as gifts. Dr. Roy officially launched the program, followed by a polling session to choose leaders. Students Anjitha, Nikhila, Reshma, Gayathri, and Santhini sang a song, and senior students shared their memories of their B.Ed life. Emi and her team also performed a song. The program committee members danced, and more students shared their experiences. After lunch at 12:30 pm, the afternoon session featured dances by Kunjulekshmi, Reshma, and Santhini. 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 16th August 2024 On 15th August 2024 our Institution chairman Dr V K Jayakumar Sir and our principal Dr Roy sir hoisted the flag on the part of Independence Day.And the related programmes were conducted on 16th August 2024.The programme was coordinated by Social Science Department.The programme was anchored by Nazeem.Then our principal Dr Roy sir talk a few words about Independence day.After that second year students sung a patriotic song. Kripa from first year share few words about Independence day.Then first year students sung a patriotic song.A dance video was presented by Syam that was done us in the previous year .A quiz session was conducted by Nazeem and Fathima.     MIRROR DRAWING APPARATUS -                                        PRACTICAL 29th July 2024 MIRROR DRAWING APPARATUS The mirror drawing apparatus (MDA) is presented as a versatile tool for providing an experiential activity to emphasize key points and generate discussion, and it serves to introduce laboratory equipment to the classroom. LEONARD CARMICHAEL The history of the develop- ment of mirror drawing as a laboratory method is not obscure and yet for some reason there is a tendency in recent papers not to do full justice to the psychologist who originated this important experimental device. We the students of Natural Science department did the Mirror Drawing apparatus practical on 29th July 2024. We did this experiment with the proper guidance by our Psychology teacher Revathy miss.

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME   November 02, 2023 Today Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal conducted a capacity building programme .It was related to the work of the  paper EDU 07 (second semester). The chief guest of the workshop is Mrs. Arya Muraleedharan, consultant psychologist of ATHMA institute, Thrissur. The topic discussed was" STRESS  MANAGEMENT ".The programme was started exactly at 10 am at the general hall .The programme was anchored by Aneeta.Welcome speech by Akshara.Sreedevi ma'am (Head of Natural Science Department)speaks about the guest Arya ma'am.All our teachers were present in the hall and become a part of that programme.In between the program Arya ma'am tried to engage all students to the program through some activities.
